Some people become beautiful to us through the little things we begin to notice about them. A certain look in their eyes, a playful spark behind a quiet expression, the softness of a smile, or the simple grace they carry can hold feelings that words do not always know how to express.
Perhaps this is how the soul finds the language of love, through the smallest gestures and most familiar expressions. This piece of love poetry is about that quiet kind of affection, when someone’s presence, their glances, and even their simplest mannerisms begin to feel like verses written softly by the heart.
The Language of Love
In your eyes,
there is a hint of anger,
a tenderness that feels like love,
and a spark of mischief that quietly lingers.
A gentle smile rests upon your lips,
while a quiet grace illuminates your face.
Every little expression, every fleeting glance,
makes you feel like a beautiful poem,
softly written in the language of love.
A Thought That Stayed With Me
Sometimes, listening to someone speak can leave you with a feeling that stays long after the conversation ends. There are moments when a simple voice, a few words, or even the silence between them can stir something within you and bring thoughts to the surface that you never knew were waiting to be written.
This poem came from one of those moments, when a feeling quietly turned into words and a few thoughts found their way onto the page. I hope you enjoy reading it and find something of your own within its words.
