Welcome!
I’m Rahul Chugh
A writer, poet, and creative professional who has always been
drawn to the stories hidden within ordinary moments.
The quiet emotions, the relationships that shape us,
the lessons we learn along the way, and the feelings
we sometimes struggle to put into words
have found their way into my writing.
Over the years, writing has become more than a craft for me;
it has become a way of understanding life, people, and myself.
My Story
My journey hasn’t been a straight or predictable path. It has been a quiet collection of lessons gathered through different seasons of my life. For years, I found myself learning, adapting, and searching for something that felt truly mine. Along the way, I discovered visual design, not just as a skill, but as a new language of expression. It became a canvas where my creative instincts, ideas, and visual sense could come together.
The Road Wasn’t Always Easy
The road was not always kind to me. There were times when I gave more than I received, and learned that hard work does not always come with recognition. I often found myself contributing beyond what was expected of me, putting thought into the words, ideas, and details behind the work, even when my efforts remained unseen. There were moments when I was told I lacked experience, while quietly carrying the experience that those very moments were giving me.
Things were not always easy at home either, but I chose patience over resentment. I kept going, learning to accept what I could not change while holding on to the belief that every season had something to teach me. Looking back, I realise that those years gave me something more valuable than professional experience: they taught me patience, humility, and the quiet strength to keep moving forward without losing myself.
Finding My Voice
Eventually, I resigned and decided to write for myself. I did not know where it would take me, and honestly, I did not expect much from it. There were pages within me that had been sitting quietly for years, almost covered in dust. I had never thought that those pages would one day mean something to someone else. I just wanted to write what I felt and what life had made me notice.
For a long time, I had heard that I did not have enough experience. Somewhere along the way, I had started believing that perhaps my work was not enough either. Then I began sharing my words on social media, and something unexpected happened. People read them. They felt them. Some stayed, some shared them, and some told me that my words had touched something within them.
That love gave me courage. It made me realise that perhaps the pages I had once left gathering dust were not waiting to be forgotten. They were simply waiting for the right time to be read.
What Changed Within Me
Over time, I began looking at life a little differently. My connection with spirituality grew deeper, and I started paying more attention to the things happening around me, the emotions people carry, the things they say without words, and the moments that often go unnoticed.
My family has been a big part of that change. My wife, my two sons, and my mother have taught me to look within myself and understand that growth is not always about achieving something. Sometimes, it is about becoming more patient, more understanding, and more grateful.
I have learned that sensitivity is not a weakness. It allows me to feel deeply, to notice what others may overlook, and perhaps, to write from a place that is honest.
What I Carry Forward
If there is one thing life has taught me above all, it is to remain grateful to God, whatever the situation may be. The good days have given me reasons to celebrate, and the difficult ones have given me reasons to grow. I have learned that not every unanswered question needs an immediate answer, and not every difficult chapter needs to be understood while we are living through it.
Today, I try to carry gratitude into whatever I do. I write from what I feel, create from what I observe, and continue to learn from the people and experiences that life brings my way. Perhaps I was never meant to follow a straight path. Perhaps every turn, every pause, and every difficult season was quietly leading me here.
And I am grateful for the journey, for everything it taught me, and for the person it is still helping me become.
What I Believe In
I believe good work should carry something more than skill. It should carry honesty, thought, and a little bit of heart. My goal is to keep creating work that feels meaningful, connects with people, and leaves something worthwhile behind.
Before You Leave
I’m grateful that you took the time to read my story. I know a life cannot truly be captured in a few words, but I’m glad you stayed long enough to hear a little of mine.
